Head Chef & Food Service Manager

65 hours per fortnight

We require a chef to manage the hospital food service, be responsible for the day to day management of the kitchen and supervision of kitchen and hospital cleaning staff. Experience with hospital systems is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

  • City of Guilds or NZQA equivalent
  • Food Hygiene Certificates

Experience and Skills

  • Food safety compliance, HCCAP
  • Special diets, allergies
  • Menu and meal planning
  • Budgeting
  • Staff supervision
  • IT proficient
  • Excellent communication skills
